Toni's Place

Toni's Place is in the process of being developed. It is Karin's dream to create a school for pregnant teenagers. We will offer women a safe place while they are pregnant and until they are able to care for themselves and their child. They will have three options for birthing their child: a homebirth at Toni's Place; a birth center birth or a hospital birth. It is important that women feel safe and secure in place where they will birth their child. We will provide the support and services they need to create that space.

How you can help:

• Funding

  We need funding to start our organization

• Building and Land

  We are looking for a home where we can house 5-7 young women. Ideally we would want a bedroom for each person. We also would like a large kitchen where we can teach, prepare, and eat our meals and a family room where we can gather for meetings, classes, or just a place to relax. A laundry room will be a necessity.

  We would like to have a pool so we can offer aqua-natal classes. We would also like to have land. We would like to have gardens for food, relaxation and healing. We also want to have the opportunity to expand if needed.

  We are looking for a building we can renovate or land we can build on.

• Furniture and Supplies

  Once we have our house we will need furnishings:

  • Beds
  • Linens
  • Bureaus
  • Dining room table and Chairs
  • Kitchen Stuff
